    The waterproof ability of led billboard is granted from three aspects: waterproof design for led module, led cabinet and the steel structure. And most of them are done by our manufacturer.

    For led module: led bead is a kind of MSD(moisture-sensitive devices) component. We will apply waterproof-glue on the surface and do anti-corrosive treatment(using conformal coating) on PCB board, and choose the suitable sealing ring between led module and led cabinet.

    For led cabinet: we need to use water-proof type cabinet with good seal-ability, rated as IP65 at least.

    For the steel structure: the engineers on site need to do anti-rust measure on the frame. On the process of designing the steel frame, we need to consider both waterproof performance and drainage performance.

    In rainy season, humidity is another challenge to the LED screens. We need to turn on the led displays and clean the dust inside from time to time. The heat generated from the led display can burn out the vapour attached, and cleaning the dust makes it better at heat-dissipation.

    If it does happen that water invades inside the led display, then we should dry the led display totally in the shortest time and turn it on aging-test(full white color) mode and at its highest brightness.
